My Mower Decks

I broke a bracket on my rider mower deck when I clipped a fence post while mowing. The bracket pulled a large chunk of the deck with it, not quite all the way off. Had to pound the piece back into the place with a mallet, tack and then weld back into place. Because the deck was painted black, I had some trouble seeing and following the crack to be welded, which made for an ugly weld. Ultimately, it worked out great as I made some additional adjustments to the deck and now it cuts better than before the break.
