Drawbacks
There aren’t many disadvantages to the self-propelled lawn mower models. However, there are some drawbacks that might make it impractical for some people. The cost of self-propelled lawn mowers can be prohibitive — both to purchase and maintain. Second, removing the mower deck and other parts can be very difficult and something that requires professional servicing. There have also been complaints of leaking fuel tanks and stripped gears. These are issues that are being addressed by the manufacturers, but still ought to be factored into the decision making process.
